Timesaving Tip - Recycle Your Content

Timesaving tip: Recycle your old content.๐Ÿš€โ €Hey- full disclosure, this blog post corresponds with a social media post I made. If your audience reaches you in different ways, you need to show up in those areas.

Some great advice from wordstream.com:

โ€œMake the most of the work you've already done. If you have a content hit, repurpose it for other channels! Turn a successful webinar into a video tutorial. Transform a group of related blog posts or other content from your site into an ebook that you can promote through site popups or your email marketing program. Never be afraid to mash-up and re-promote your old content โ€“ chances are there will be a ton of people who never even saw your old stuff, so itโ€™ll be a fresh, 100% new content piece for a large segment of your audience.โ€โ €

Same goes with video content- you can use it on YouTube, or post it to your Reels. I havenโ€™t delved into those areas for my own business, but maybe this post will inspire me to do so!

Keep track of your content with planning tools for social media, like Planoly or Later, where you can write your text, upload your images, and schedule automated posting. Then you always have that content handy to cut and paste. Or organize it in a Word doc or Google Doc by category, so it is easy to repurpose. I also find it helpful to organize my images into folders, to I can quickly find them and repurpose them when I want to.
