My story:

How it started… I started Pfeifer Design in 2000 out of my home in CT, after spending the years after graduating from the Univ. of Richmond as an ad-agency production artist, freelance designer at design studios, and then as art director at a wildlife-themed toy company. I always thought I would someday become my own “boss” because my dad always had his own business and worked from home, and I liked how he could set his own schedule. He was also very hard working, my mom answered the phone and tried to cover up the dog barking or the neighborhood kids in the background, and we knew that the office was his space, but we went in there and messed stuff up anyway. It has played out similarly for me, aside from my mom not being my receptionist/bookkeeper!

How it’s going… Fast forward to today, and I have established my business with a wide range of clients, from my community in Madison, NJ, to one in Japan. Fun projects I’ve worked on range from the logo for my town, designs for stuffed animals, self-published books for authors, a pink van wrap, to a painted fence mural at my favorite BBQ joint. I’ve explored the world of e-commerce as well, with my online shop Bunkybee where I design and sell print-on-demand merchandise. I love working with my clients throughout a project and showing them how creative and fun it can be to show their business some love with well-thought-out and carefully crafted designs.

In my spare time, I like to read, bike, grow veggies and flowers, travel, and spend time with my family. I have a soft spot for the beach, and chocolate. 🌊 🍫
