Brewery Branding

Double Tap Brewing is a new brewery coming to NJ. Their interior space will have an industrial vibe with elements of nature, like natural edge wood tables, wrought iron, and industrial fixtures. Their name “Double Tap” refers to a quote by Ben Franklin about NJ being like a keg tapped on both ends- by NY and Philly. They wanted to play off of this with their branding - with the “taps” being positioned by the two cities on the borders of the state. I incorporated a color scheme with a patriotic, colonial feel. And also incorporated the industrial, distressed, natural look that will be part of their vibe.

We worked to create a mood board for their brand, and then I develop a versatile mark, that can be used in various applications - their website, on glassware or tap handles, indoor and outdoor signage and more. I gave them single and multi color options for flexibility. I also created their website, which gives them a “coming soon” space to announce upcoming developments with their brewery launch.
